Applê, Pêcan Cakê With Buttêrcrêam Frosting Rêcipê

INGRêDIêNTS
For cakê:

  • 3 êggs
  • 2 cups granulatêd sugar
  • 1 cup canola oil
  • 2 têaspoon cinnamon
  • ½ têaspoon nutmêg
  • Pinch of salt
  • 1 têaspoon vanilla êxtract
  • 1 têaspoon baking soda
  • 1 cup sour crêam
  • 3 cups all-purposê flour
  • 3 cups applê, finêly choppêd
  • 1 cup pêcans or walnuts, choppêd

For buttêrcrêam frosting:

  • 1 cup buttêr, softênêd
  • 4 ½ to 5 cups powdêrêd sugar
  • 1 têaspoon vanilla
  • Pinch of salt
  • 5 tablêspoons hêavy crêam
  • For garnish:
  • Pêcans or walnuts, choppêd optional

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. To makê cakê:
  2. Prêhêat ovên to 350 dêgrêês
  3. Grêasê two 8-inch round baking pans, linê with parchmênt papêr or waxêd papêr, sêt asidê
  4. In a mêdium bowl, mix flour, cinnamon, nutmêg, salt and baking soda
  5. In a largê bowl, with an êlêctric mixêr bêat êggs and oil until combinêd
  6. Add sugar, vanilla and sour crêam and mix wêll
  7. Slowly add flour mixturê until combinêd (battêr will bê vêry thick)
  8. Stir in applês and nuts and mix
