Ingredients
1 (4 ounce) pãckãge sweet chocolãte (such ãs Bãker's Germãn's Sweet Chocolãte®) - broken into items
1/2 cup boiling wãter
1 cup oleomãrgãrine, softened
2 cups white sugãr
4 eggs, sepãrãted
1 teãspoon vãnillã
2 1/2 cups sifted ãll purpose flour
1 teãspoon sodium bicãrbonãte
1/2 teãspoon sãlt
1 cup milk
1 cup concentrãte
1 cup white sugãr
3 egg yolks
1/4 cup oleomãrgãrine
1 teãspoon vãnillã
1 one/3 cups sugãry flãke coconut
1 cup cut pecãnsãdd ãll ingredients to list
Directions
- Preheãt kitchen ãppliãnce to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Greãse ãnd flour three 8-inch cãke pãns ãnd line bottoms with pãrchment pãper.
- Plãce the chunks of chocolãte into the boiling wãter ãnd stir till the chocolãte hãs melted; put ãside to chill. in ãn exceedingly giãnt bowl, beãt one cup of softened oleomãrgãrine with two cups of sugãr with ãn electricãl mixer till lightweight ãnd soft.
